A JEWISH-owned cafe in the Melbourne suburb of Chadstone has been targeted by antisemitic vandals for the second time in a week.

Aliza Shuvaly, who runs Aliza’s Place Cafe, arrived at work early this morning (Saturday) to find the words “The Holocaust didn’t happen but it should have” daubed on a fence, along with a large blue swastika.

It comes two days after vandals struck the same cafe, scrawling another swastika and the words “The Holocaust is a lie”.

Victoria Police is investigating the incidents.

Anti-Defamation Commission chairman Dvir Abramovich described the vandalism as “unacceptable and un-Australian”.

“These neo-Nazis, with their latest threat to murder us, have declared open season on our community, and I understand why some Jews in Melbourne feel under siege. But we will never cower or stop speaking out in the face of such intimidation, because the only antidote to this poison is unity, resolve and strength,” he said.
