Baum bests competition
GYMNAST Morgan Baum competed at the National Clubs Gymnastics Competition at the AIS in Canberra earlier this month, helping MLC Gymnastics Club to a stirring win.
GYMNAST Morgan Baum competed at the National Clubs Gymnastics Competition at the AIS in Canberra earlier this month, helping MLC Gymnastics Club to a stirring win.
The 13-year-old Bialik student also enjoyed personal success with two third-place finishes on separate apparatus and a fourth-place finish on another.
A member of MLC for the past eight years, Morgan is competing at National level seven and was the youngest member of the Australian team at the Maccabiah Games in Israel in 2009, where she finished 13th. She was also a member of the Victorian team that took second place at the National Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Championships in Perth 2010.
