JCA’s hands clean on Hakoah

JCA has denied it is behind the current dispute with the board of the Hakoah Club in relation to the development proposals for White City.

In a letter to The AJN, president Stephen Chipkin said comments suggesting this are “simply not correct”.

“JCA is not involved in any way with any plan for White City, nor is there any plan (or discussion of any plan) for JCA to move its offices to White City,” Chipkin said.

He added: “The Hakoah Club is not a member of JCA and while JCA is of course interested in outcomes that will benefit the Jewish community, the question of White City is entirely a matter for the Hakoah board and its members.”
