2020 NRL GRAND FINAL

Showing their true colours

EXCITEMENT is building ahead of Sunday night’s NRL decider between the Penrith Panthers and the Melbourne Storm.

The Storm’s number one ticket-holder for this season, federal Treasurer Josh Frydenberg (pictured on left) got in the mood by showing off his framed Melbourne jersey.

“Let’s hope Victoria gets a win with the Storm!” he told The AJN this week.

In response, AJN sports editor Shane Desiatnik (pictured on right) showed his true colours, raising his fists in support of the Panthers.

“I’ve been a Panthers fan since 1989 when my primary school teacher at Masada College, Andrew Simons, played for them and scored 12 tries that year – so I was instantly hooked!” he said.
